More than software tutorials

Learn by creating real projects.

Students do not need to arrive with everything figured out. We guide them from basic tools and rough ideas to finished brand materials they can explain, improve, and proudly present.

Along the way, students build practical skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, branding, promotional design, print-on-demand, and creative business thinking.

  • Live instruction from two working creatives
  • Real-time questions, feedback, and project help
  • Recorded lessons students can revisit anytime
  • Graded projects that unlock the next course
  • A final brand package and graduation certificate

Example self-paced course

Photoshop Tools: Selections & the Magic Wand

An instructor recording shows the tool in action, then students use it in a real creative project.

  • Select a specific area or object
  • Remove or replace a complete background
  • Change colors without damaging the original
  • Refine edges for a cleaner result
  • Export the finished artwork correctly

The project is submitted for grading and feedback. Students complete required work before moving forward.

From screen to finished product

Understand how creative work becomes something real.

Students learn that a strong design must work beyond the computer screen. Lessons connect artwork preparation to apparel, promotional products, marketing pieces, and print-on-demand production.

This practical connection helps students understand quality, production limits, customer needs, and professional presentation.

Graduation project

Finish with a complete brand package.

For the final, each student develops a brand for a business, organization, idea, or event. The project can include a logo, color and type direction, apparel concept, marketing graphic, and presentation explaining the creative choices.

Students who complete the required coursework and final project receive a Hotpressink Creative Skills Academy Certificate of Completion. This is a program completion certificate and is not an accredited academic credential.
